The Sensual World is the sixth studio album by the English singer-songwriter Kate Bush, released on 16 October 1989 by EMI Records. It reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart . It has been certified Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for shipments in excess of 300,000 in the United Kingdom, [2] and Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States.
