Timothy Patrick Bowes-Lyon, 16th and 3rd Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne (18 March 1918 – 13 September 1972), was a British nobleman and peer. He was the second son of The 15th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and the nephew of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, wife of King George VI.

The son of Claude Bowes-Lyon, 13th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, he succeeded his father to the earldom in February 1904. Along with the earldom, he got quite a few estates as an inheritance. Known to be a true landowner, he would often work on his farm estates like a common laborer.

Michael Fergus Bowes-Lyon, 18. Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne (* 7. Juni 1957; † 27. Februar 2016 in London [1]) war ein britischer Politiker und Heeresoffizier. Bowes-Lyon war der einzige Sohn von Michael Bowes-Lyon, 17. Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne (1928–1987) und seiner (seit 1956) Ehefrau Mary Pamela McCorquodale (* 1932).
He inherited the Earldom of Strathmore and Kinghorne upon the death of his first cousin, The 16th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne. He collapsed while shooting grouse on the grounds of the castle and died en route to a hospital.
