It is an easy-to-make drink that requires only three ingredients. The Manhattan is a sophisticated Whiskey drink balanced by sweet Vermouth and enhanced with aromatic bitters.
The classic Manhattan cocktail is an iconic blend of three ingredients: 60 ml (or 2 oz) of whiskey, ideally rye or bourbon, 30 ml (or 1 oz) of sweet red vermouth, and 1-3 dashes of Angostura bitters, tailored to taste. Stir these ingredients with ice to chill the drink.
